Early Life and Education
Born and raised in Aspen, Colorado, Sarah experienced the beauty and close-knit nature of a small mountain town. She attended Aspen High School, where she excelled academically as a member of the National Honor Society. Graduating in 2002, Sarah headed to Rollins College in Orlando, Florida, to pursue her undergraduate studies.
At Rollins, she earned a Bachelor of Arts in English with a minor in Communications, graduating cum laude in 2006. Beyond academics, Sarah thrived in leadership roles as an active member of Kappa Kappa Gamma Sorority, ultimately serving as chapter president.
Her passion for law led her to Vanderbilt University Law School (VULS) in Nashville, Tennessee, where she graduated with her Juris Doctor in May 2010. During law school, she served as an Associate Editor for the university’s Environmental Journal. She participated in the International Law Practice Clinic, gaining early exposure to complex legal matters that would shape her career path.
Early Career in Business Development
After law school, Sarah initially stepped outside the legal world, joining American Express in 2011 in corporate account business development. Her performance quickly earned recognition—she ranked among the top new hires and later among the top tenured business development managers. This experience honed her skills in client relations, strategic growth, and negotiation—competencies that would later serve her legal and entrepreneurial endeavors.
Return to the Legal Profession
In 2013, Sarah returned to law, joining the Office of the General Counsel at the Florida Department of Economic Opportunity. Here, she focused on community planning and strategic business development, deepening her understanding of government operations, regulatory compliance, and public policy.
A year later, in 2014, Sarah moved to the prominent Tallahassee firm Hopping Green & Sams, P.A. (HGS), where she became a shareholder in the Special District practice group. At HGS, she represented an array of clients, including real estate developers, community development districts, and other special-purpose governmental entities. Her practice encompassed community infrastructure development, public financing, and governance matters across Florida.
Expertise in Public Finance
Sarah Warren’s specialization in public finance and infrastructure development became the hallmark of her legal career. At HGS, she often acted as Issuer’s Counsel for community development and stewardship districts, guiding them through financing mechanisms for public infrastructure projects such as roadways, water and sewer utilities, and stormwater systems—projects essential to supporting Florida’s growing residential and mixed-use developments.

Public Finance – Advising state and local governments on bond issuance, collaborating with underwriters, trustees, and bondholders to secure funding for public projects.

In January 2022, Sarah joined Bryant Miller Olive P.A. (BMO), a firm recognized for its work in public finance law. At BMO, she continued representing local government clients on public financing matters, working alongside leading professionals in the industry to deliver strategic, results-oriented counsel. Her work at BMO further solidified her reputation as a knowledgeable, solution-focused attorney in the field of municipal and infrastructure finance.
Entrepreneurial Ventures
Though accomplished in law, Sarah eventually decided to shift her professional focus toward entrepreneurship. Leveraging her legal background, business acumen, and strong client network, she began pursuing independent ventures with her husband. Sarah has been an active member of the Urban Land Institute (ULI), where she participated in the Women’s Leadership Initiative, contributed to the Young Leaders Group, and volunteered with the Urban Plan educational program. Personal Interests and Passions
A lifelong equestrian, Sarah began riding horses at the age of six and went on to compete on the national horse show circuit. While at Rollins College, she co-founded the Rollins College Equestrian Team and served as its president during her sophomore and junior years.
